This kind of image is not normally up my alley but I find experimentation and testing to be absolutely essential to my creativity. Here my friend and fellow photographer David Clugston took one for the team and capsized his kayak in rather cold water while I shot underwater with strobes. The water was so murky that the light falloff was much too fast and the image ended pretty obscured. Even so, the effect is quite beautiful and something I will absolutely remember for the future. More underwater work is in order, but I may have to work with it down at the pool when the outside temperature is less than 60 degrees.
Wow – it seems like from the other world, i like it:)
